It has been a challenging time for Pastor Sergio, his wife, Gloria and their family during El Salvador’s response to the pandemic. The age restriction made it impossible for Sergio to be out of his home for months, but he and his family continued to faithfully advance the gospel as forcefully as they could during this last season. Now travel is possible and Pr. Sergio with his son, Josue, who live in San Salvador, were able to visit the families in San Miguel in eastern El Salvador for the first time since February. What an encouragement that he brings, fulfilling his promise to them to stand with them and share the Word of God to help them become true disciples.
The Apostle Paul wrote: “Remember Jesus Christ, raised from the dead, descended from David. This is my gospel, for which I am suffering even to the point of being chained like a criminal. But God’s Word is not chained. Therefore I endure everything for the sake of the elect, that they too may obtain salvation that is in Christ Jesus, with eternal glory.” 2 Timothy 2:8-10
