Prayer for all Nations, Saturday, June 5th

Prayer for all Nations, Saturday, June 5th from 6 pm to June 6th at 6 am at the Garden of Eden family ministry fellowship center, 14799 Avon Allen Road, Mt. Vernon, Washington.

“The body is a unit, though it is made up of many parts; and though all its parts are many, they form one body. So it is with Christ. For we are all baptized by one Spirit into one body – whether Jew or Greeks, slave or free – and we were all given the one Spirit to drink. God has arranged the parts in the body, every one of them, just as He wants them to be. He has combined the members of the body and has given greater honor to the parts that lacked it, so there should be no division in the body, but that its parts should have equal concern for each other. If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it.” (1 Corinthians 12:12-26)

We are deeply concerned about the attacks on our freedoms, especially religious freedom, that are given to us and protected by the Constitution. Unfortunately, in our enthusiasm, we could cause harm to the body of Christ. We are blessed to have worked with the body of Christ in Mexico and Central America in concert with people from those countries that are US citizens and live in Skagit Valley but have family and friends in the countries they immigrated from. The over-emphasis of the problems we are witnessing at our southern border is not going unnoticed by Satan who always seizes the opportunity to cause division. Seeking God’s will by praying together as one body is our greatest weapon.
