The power of the New Testament church was released after they were scattered. The power is not diminished because we can’t all be together at the same time. Jesus fed the 5,000 by breaking them into small groups. Why do we think we are so good that we can’t do it the same way? He went house to house. The only time we need to focus on the big assembly or crusade is when He blows the trumpet. We are crippled because we “believe” God can’t see us or appreciate us or be encouraged by our love for Him unless we put on a big show. It is not by power or might, but by the Spirit that His love manifest itself. Those in leadership need to get over the idea that WE are the shepherds. He shepherds through us and He has allowed this to happen so we can see that the power and might of His Church comes from Him not from us.
“And so, we don’t rely on our love for Him, but His love for us.” (1 John 4:16)
