“Jesus said, ‘Open your eyes and look to the fields. They are ripe for the harvest.”
(John 4:35)
“Now Cain said to his brother Abel, ‘Let’s go out to the field.’ And while they were in the field, Cain attacked his brother Abel and killed him. Then the Lord said to Cain, ‘Where is your brother Abel?’ ‘I don’t know,’ he replied, ‘Am I my brother’s keeper?”
(Genisus 4:8-9)
“This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down His life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers. If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need but has no pity on him, how can the love of God be in him? Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth.”
(1 John 3:16-18)
We praise God for the opportunity to partner with all of our co-laborers in central Africa and are grateful to be able to send another financial blessing.
The Harvest Kids are grateful that the money sent for the mosquito nets for the orphan girls that live at the Nalidi Grace Primary school in east Uganda with Pr. Patrick & Stella were able to use that money for food instead of getting the nets. Although we had a short time without being able to meet with the kids, they are back and have collected that same amount for the 25 girls nets and already have enough for two of the nets for the 29 boys.
We were sorry to hear that Pr. Simon in N. Kenya was without a phone for a while so we are sending money for a new phone for him. He is excited about getting out in the harvest field now that the lockdown has eased and we are looking forward to receiving the testimonies of more healings, deliverance and salvations.
We were blessed to be able to help Pr. Charles and the Harvest Vision Church family in Kayunga in central Uganda with the rain beam to protect their building that they have worked so faithfully on and are sending the money needed to finish getting the iron sheets for the roof.
We are also glad to hear that the Kibuli fellowship in this large slum area of Kampala, Uganda now has 22 home groups and is growing and expects to be at 30 very soon. Even with this growth and the responsibility to train these new believers to be true disciples, we are encouraged by the vision to start a church plant on the property rented in Iganga, east of Kampala. A half million people in this most Muslim populated city in Uganda. Even in the midst of the temptation to draw back and take care of our immediate church families, the vision to send 15 believers to build the church fellowship with a focus on home church groups is a testimony to the Holy Spirit’s power to fulfill the command of Jesus to: “Therefore go and make disciples.” We are sending a $1,000 seed toward the $5,500 needed to complete the project and have asked our partners to continue to pray and support the vision as the “gospel is preached to all the nations – and then the end will come.”
We are thankful for everyone of our co-laborers in the USA that even in the midst of our own trials are willing to pray and support the expanding of God’s Kingdom.
