Harvest Vision Ministries is starting their summertime fund raising.
We planted a Garden of Eden farming project in west Mt. Vernon. And we are now starting to see the fruit of our labor!
Harvest Kids projects go year-round. The last few years a local farmer has planted corn for the kids to use for fundraising and it will be available late in the summer. Last year they were able to build a four-classroom primary school for vulnerable children in Uganda that had been meeting under a tree. They have gathered, crushed and recycled aluminum cans to buy and or replace mosquito nets for children in various places in Africa.
The Garden of Eden now has available broccoli, radishes and lettuce at the Harvest Home at 9467 Pierce Lane in Sedro Woolley.
The home is open Tuesday-Friday from 10am-4pm and will also be open Saturday from 10am-1pm for the regular Harvest Kids.
We welcome you to bring your children on Saturday.
Our friends from Child’s Evangelism Fellowship will be helping with the teaching.
In the future, we will have broccoli, beets, beans, cucumbers, pumpkins, onions, turnips, etc.
All of the funds collected will go to expand the Garden of Eden project.
This includes a playfield and camping area for the Harvest Kids locally and to support their ministry to help vulnerable children in Africa.
Your prayers and support are important to help teach these young people about the love of Jesus and how to be true disciples by loving God and loving others less fortunate than themselves.
The Harvest Kids meet the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month. We are involving them in different outreach and fellowship opportunities throughout the summer.
