After three years’ labor in an African mission, a cripple, without the use of either hands or feet, was baptized. At the end of the first year this cripple, through his personal invitation, had led thirty-one savages from warring villages to Christ. At a meeting of these converts it was proposed that every man tithe his income. The cripple suggested that every tenth man of the members give himself as a minister of the Gospel and that the other nine support him. This was joyously accepted at the first proposal. After nine years the one station had multiplied to four and the membership had grown from thirty-one to two thousand. One man by persistent effort and faith in God led two thousand to the ‘light of that one face.” Shall we do likewise?
